Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Building Engineer. Founded, grew and sold two Cambridgeshire property development businesses over 33 years – Camstead (1990–2007) and Rheebridge (2008–2023) – delivering over £1 billion of residential, affordable and commercial development, employing over 100 people and commissioning over 500 subcontractors. Personally negotiated over 130 property deals. Angel investor in health technology (International Health Technology / Check4Cancer) and theatre production; owner of a Cambridge residential property portfolio.
Trustee and Director of Cambridge Arts Theatre Trust 2016–2023. Patron of the Cambridge Literary Festival. Volunteer with It Takes a City. Young Enterprise alumnus (The Leys, early 1980s). Supporter of numerous Cambridgeshire charities, including Tom's Trust, the Fitzwilliam Museum, EACH and Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust.
